Take a look at all this wasted vision. I'm just another headless, aimless one. Just about been twisted to submission, I don't mind it when it's done. Don't forget to empty out my pockets and pull me through another crowded storm. I thought that I was on my way to something, they said, "man, you're barely warm."
Can't you see that everything repeats?
But I don't wanna go around. Revolving door. I can hardly see the ground. Revolving Door. I don't wanna go around. Can't take anymore revolving door.
Take a look at all this wasted friction. I'm just another headless, aimless son. I can make a mess with such precision but I mostly try to run. Don't forget to charge me for the process. Let me drift away before I'm spent. Everybody's betting on a bad guess but it's not gonna make a dent.
Don't it seem like everything repeats? But it's a trick that always works on me. You can't get off, you can't go back, seems like we're going nowhere fast. But all those days seen through the glass, no they aren't ever coming back.

Oh weatherman got it wrong. Called for a storm that's been here for so long. I keep my head in the sky, waiting for rain when I've never been dry.
I'd step out of my mind if I could. If I could step out of my body I would too. Imitation of life, too good to be true.
Palm reader might have blown it. Crossed out the lines that didn't quite fit. Somebody spoiled the end. I don't have the same attention span.

Got a case of tunnel vision when I'm so underneath. Laser-focused indecision when I'm so underneath.
Technicolor happy place. Just give a little bit. Throw it back into your face. Don't take a lot of it. Hold me close in your embrace but I'm still unconvinced when I'm so underneath.
Hanging out over my shoulder when I'm so underneath. Little cold but getting colder when I'm so underneath.

Takes me back to my high school classroom during the days of binging Inio Asano's old manga scanlations before anything was licensed. At that time, I was discovering many kinds of Asian shoegaze, but I've never heard anything like this. Makes me think of Pasteboard, Supecar, and Midnight Pingpong a bit, and it's funny bc the first two I listen have blue album covers too.
